WRO International Finals
November 8-10, 2019
2019 Theme: Smart Cities
The future of cities is developed under the overall name of “Smart Cities”: new concepts, new ideas and new technologies that help building the cities of the future. Cities with more efficient processes, green energy and innovative concepts for all parts of our life. These developments will help save energy, make traffic safer and improve public transport systems. But they can also help the government to function better and can make the lives of people easier.

World Robot Olympiad
WRO - USA
WRO-USA is a national member of the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), an international robot competition that brings together young people from all over the world to develop their creativity, design & problem-solving skills through challenging & educational robot competitions and activities.
WRO-USA organizes competitions throughout the US at regional, state, and national levels. Top teams from the national level competition earn an invitation to the World Championships.
Participants work together with a coach in teams or two or three students to perform new tasks every year. Teams create, design and build a robot model that is capable to perform a challenge. Each year a new theme and challenge are set. The competition starts from preliminary rounds to the final judging.
Children aged between 8 and 19 years can participate in one of the three competition categories: Regular, Open or Football Category. Participants between the ages of 17 and 25 years old can participate in the Advanced Robotics Challenge Category.
2019 will be greater than ever for the USA. This our 6th year now and we are continually allowing children to explore and challenge themselves. Last year we invited 9 teams to the to the International Finals in Thailand. This year we hope to find those amazing teams to send to Hungary.
We are growing to new cities and support STEM awareness throughout the USA.
